Biography

I am currently the Director of the USGS Idaho Cooperative Fish & Wildlife Research Unit at the University of Idaho. I received a Ph.D. from the University of Montana, a M.S. from the University of Wyoming, and a B.S. from Colorado State University.  Some of my prior positions include a Postdoc at SUNY-Syracuse, an Adjunct Professor at Washington State University, and the Assistant Leader at the Arizona Cooperative Fish & Wildlife Research Unit in Tucson for 11 years.  I have been in my current position in Idaho since 2011. I was elected as a Fellow in both the American Ornithological Society and The Wildlife Society, and I have published >120 papers in >40 scientific journals.
